Processing of personal information
We process personal information about you when you visit our website, when you use one of our products or if you in other ways are in contact with us. In this privacy notice, you will find information about how we collect personal information, why we do this, and your rights related to the processing of your personal information.
The organisation that is responsible for the processing of collected personal information is Paygoo AS (org. no. 916 390 424). Why we collect personal information
We collect and process your personal information for various purposes, depending on who you are and how we get in touch with you.
We collect personal information in order to

- Send you relevant information about our products
- Answer your inquiries to us
- Prevent and detect criminal offences
We shall have a legal basis to collect and process your personal information. The agreement you enter when using our products, and any consent from you to collect and process your personal information is to be regarded as a legal basis. Please note that we are required to comply with legal obligations under applicable law, and any instructions from public authorities.
We collect the following personal information
- First name and last name
- Phone number and email address
- Date of birth
- Address
The personal information is collected through forms on our website and when activating our products. It is voluntary to disclose this information. Please note that we may not be able to give you access to our products if you choose not to provide us with your personal information.
How the information is stored and deleted
Personal information we collect is stored in secure CRM systems and in the card platform that we use. This information is primarily processed by Paygoo employees but may also be available to some subcontractors (data processors). We will store the information for as long as necessary, for the purpose of which the personal information was obtained. When the agreement is terminated and when all the obligations are fulfilled, we will normally be required to store the information further in order to comply with the Norwegian accounting act (from 3,5 years - 10 years) and the Norwegian money laundering act (5 years).
You may request deletion of any information we have stored about you at any time (access to our products may cease as a result). Deletion of personal information does not affect the legality of a consent-based action if the action is performed before the consent is withdrawn. Please note that we may be obligated to store the information for a while after requested deletion. Contact our customer support if you still want to delete your personal information from our systems. We will respond to your inquiry as soon as possible (generally within 48 hours).
Communication via newsletters (email) and SMS
We may have to send you relevant information about our products and otherwise inform you about our business. This communication is based on the consent you have given us by registering or activating one of our products.
How we use cookies
We use cookies to collect information about how visitors use our website (this applies to, for example, the My Page solution). This is necessary in order to customize the website for visitors and to make it more user-friendly - we do not collect sensitive information about you in this process. You can make changes to your browser and block cookies at any time. Please note that you may lose access to parts of the website by doing so.
Prevention and detection of criminal offenses
Personal information can be used to prevent and detect criminal offenses, such as money laundering, fraud and acts of terrorism. We may be required to either collect personal information from, or provide personal information to banks, financial institutions, the police and other public authorities. We are also obligated to report any suspicious information and transactions to the police and other public authorities.
Sharing of personal information
We only use trustworthy and serious subcontractors (data processors) to collect, store or otherwise process personal information on our behalf. All data processors have entered agreements (data processing agreements) with Paygoo AS, in order to protect the information and to secure all stages of processing. We will not pass on personal information to others, unless we have legal basis to do so.

Data processors outside the EEA have (in addition to data processing agreements) entered special agreements (standard contracts approved by the EU commission) with Paygoo AS. We cooperate exclusively with subcontractors who fully understands and respects your rights.
Your rights and complaints
You have the right to demand access to the personal information we have stored and how these are processed. You may also request limited processing, correction or deletion of stored personal information. You can read more about your rights at the Norwegian data protection authority's website. Please contact our customer support, if you wish to apply your rights. We will respond to your inquiry as soon as possible (generally within 48 hours).
You can send a complaint to the Norwegian data protection authority if you think that our handling does not correspond to what is described here, or that we violate our legal obligations in other ways. Data portability
When using automated processing of personal information, we shall be able to export and display any stored information upon request - such requests may be sent to our customer support. We will respond to your inquiry as soon as possible (generally within 48 hours).
Changes
Changes to the applicable law may result in changes to our privacy statement. You will be informed of any changes per newsletter (email) or SMS. You will also find updated information on our website.
